How it works

How Louisiana inspects salons

Board inspectors may enter any licensed salon during regular business hours to interview people there and examine work records.

“Inspectors and employees of the board are entitled to enter any salon or school licensed by the board, to interview any person present at the facility and to examine all work records pertaining to the cosmetology profession during the regular business hours of the facility.”
