Loyalty Program
A structured reward system that gives clients a reason to keep coming back to you.
A loyalty program rewards repeat visits or spending with points, credits, free add-ons, or tiered perks, giving clients a concrete reason to return to you rather than shop around. Done well it turns occasional visitors into regulars and nudges up both visit frequency and Average Ticket. The goal is not discounting for its own sake; it is engineering a habit and raising Client Lifetime Value (CLV).
Loyalty mechanics are surprisingly persuasive. In one salon study, 27% of clients returned and paid full price for a service that had first been introduced to them as a free treat on their loyalty card, so a well-placed reward pays for itself. And because a 5% gain in retention can lift profits 25% to 95%, even a modest bump in repeat behavior is worth real money. Loyalty also gives you a reason to stay in touch, which supports Win-Back before a client fully lapses.
A loyalty program is one of a family of retention structures alongside Membership (recurring commitment), Package (prepaid bundles), and Referral (rewarding advocacy). Run and personalize it through a client CRM and communicate rewards over the channel clients actually read via email and SMS marketing.
